So i happened to noticed that my guys originally were colored blue when i was warden. But then i went to get the box on clouds and then that turned blue as well. So i dont think this is a massive bug but the coloring for the warden isn't the same as it use to be. I know usually a warden wouldn't have the box and all but the point is the color is going to anything on the warden. Just thought id bring this up

Also seen a T with the box, damage a CT and the box turned red. I believe it's due to all items on a player being highlighted like your awp in the seconds picture. More than likely not a bug, it's just what the coloring does.
The colouring never use to do that is what im saying, The box is something that can be useful to a rebel as you said and it gives away that its a ts box if its red. I just wanted it to be reverted back to just player model being coloured
When a player is coloured, it colours all its children entities also. Pretty sure its always been like this but I can take a quick look to see if highlighting just the main player model is a possibility.
