I've played surf a couple of times and I can tell you that the maps you mentioned are pretty much my favourite. Ski is my #1 favourite map on combat surf. Obviously the community also like these maps as mentioned. I think that the same maps coming up again every 3 games is good, no need for every 5 or 6 games.
