So it has come to my attention that people are uploading Youtube videos to be used as demos, and from what I've seen these are alwaysd one sided. Not only can people cut anything they like but they can be used to bait other players. is a major player for doing this, he will rile someone up wait for you to abuse them then record the video of you attacking him. You can see this on his latest report where he uploaded a youtube video trying to get someone banned.

Tl;DR basically youtube videos aren't a reliable source of footage and don't give the whole picture, I'm suggesting we only allow demos and tick numbers taken directly from the server to ensure the admin dealing with the abuse report understands the full picture.
please just ban him again, still attacking
i mean.... the box provided is called "evidence" not demo...
If you're not involved don't post, he wasn't involved he shouldn't have posted full stop.

I have to agree with Squid here.
This seems more of an attack than a suggestion.

As for the suggestion, demos are the preferred evidence source but Youtube videos are often easier for admins on slower connections to look at.
Both are valid forms of evidence as of now. If someone suggests the video is hiding something or has been tampered with, they can bring that up and the evidence will be cross referenced with demos.
