Name notifcations - Trident - 16-02-2016
Thoughts and input in the idea to say. have it so if someone was CTbanned there name would be
example :
[Name Tag] Name - ctbanned - X time remaining.
[Name Tag] Name - Muted- X time remaining.
[Name Tag] Name - ctbanned - Perm.
ect ect ect ect
This make sense ?
it would save admin's having to stop every 10-15 minutes or however long or players getting mad cause admin didn't see them ask ?
idk just thougtht ?
Just trying to think of different way's to make things that tiny little bit easier for admins.

Would be easier to just make a command for people to check how long they are banned/muted for. Ie the current command is admin only and is !isbanned xxxx just make it available to normal players and add !ismuted xxxx

I don't think there is actually a way to do this Only way would be to to make a plugin check if they are banned. I.e.
!amibanned
Server< you have 30minutes on your ban remaining >
I don't see any point for doing it with mutes. If you get muted I really doubt that you will get unmuted before map change

i still dont understand why the !isbanned command is admin only. i reckon you should be able to check your own bans (with a diff command) but admins should have perms for others.

I agree with ev0 a way to check your own ban/mute would make it so people don't have to bug us about their bans.

Because isbanned lets you check other peoples bans,

M8 it would be nice to use isbanned for yourself
So that's not always necessary for the names

I should've instead said I don't understand why there isn't a command like !isbanned for yourself, mb.
