Server swapping plugin - Grom - 19-02-2016 I was thinking of maybe a plugin that would give all players to have the ability to move from server to server with having to go through the trouble of leaving the server pulling up the list and than picking the one you want. This is how I think it could work. We have the command !servers and what pops up is a list of all the invex servers and possibly the slots that's taken. When selecting a server maybe it could automatically make you connect to the chosen server and an IP address will pop up in chat saying "connect <ip address>". RE: Server swapping plugin - Ownaj - 19-02-2016 Press escape whilst on any server > browse community servers. Lmao. Simpler than that alsoif for some reason someone had to be kicked for a reserved spot they can given the option as well. RE: Server swapping plugin - Ownaj - 19-02-2016 We really don't need this. Type out !server and then select your server or literally press 1 key = esc and left click twice. RE: Server swapping plugin - Hello World - 19-02-2016 Unfortunately this function is broken in CSGO. There are some other plugins I've been looking at that provide some features but they just seem overly complicated. Essentially what I might try is having it so that: someone types !server(s) and it opens a menu with what servers we have. You select the server you want. Then it prints to chat a message like [Invex Servers]: Open console and enter this "connect serverip:port" or Open steam browser and enter this url "steam://connect/serverip:port" RE: Server swapping plugin - Byte - 19-02-2016 Trident also suggested this but I think all plugins out currently are somewhat buggy and not automated at all so theres no real point really. RE: Server swapping plugin - Trident - 19-02-2016 As Hello World said CS:GO has broken a major part to the 99% of the plugins out there for this. Currently the BEST we could do i guess is a server listener that list and shows all the servers but you would still have to manually connect to these unless we could do a work around by making it input the command for said server connect:ip into console .. idk your thoughts Byte ? RE: Server swapping plugin - Hello World - 19-02-2016 You can't force client commands in sourcemod. RE: Server swapping plugin - Byte - 19-02-2016 Also if im not mistaken, you can just type !serverlist to bring up the server list webpage. Then if you click on the connect links, it should take you to the server you want. RE: Server swapping plugin - Hello World - 19-02-2016 ^ Totally forgot about that. Going to make it so typing server or servers brings up that page |
