Darcye needs recommendations :) - Darcye - 22-06-2016

Hi, as some of you may know i have a really shit school computer. It looks like a brick and can't load anything its cancer. So i'm finally going to get something better ...yay.

I was originally going to purchase a pc but i think a gaming laptop would be better because its portable and I move inbetween houses often.
Does anyone know any good brands or anything that they could recommend to me <3 <3
Much appreciated Big Grin

like a grand maybe I don't know though it depends on what you want it for. If you want to play the next ten years worth of games (which is what I assume) quite a minimal set up could be used. 8 gigs of ram, an AMD graphics card and an Intel i7 processor. I have a PC with these specs and I can run CS:GO at about 150 fps with lowest graphics and 4:3 stretched resolutions. It cost around $1000 5 years ago, so I assume that a laptop with the same specs now would cost the same. Darcye

You can build a PC for $500 @ http://www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-2169825/cheap-gaming-desktop-run-csgo.html
They are all the parts and the price per part
Smile

Or for a laptop you can get this. http://www.dell.com/uk/p/inspiron-15-5558-laptop/pd I have heard people talk about how it can run CSGO at a good FPS

I have had my eyes on the razor blade 2015-2016 for ages but isn't have the money for it. I like how it looks and has enough power for the games I play and if I ever need more they have the razer core for external gpu. If you would like something a bit more powerful I can recommend any of the MSI laptops and just get the one that suits your budget.

it really depends what you want egrill. jynxx thats also 500$ usd to aud. In terms of laptops im assuming you want something that you can take to school as well.
A decent laptop that isnt a giant brick gaming pc will cost you anything between 1200$ - 2000$ (Csgo 100+fps) etc. Desktops you can build for cheaper but not that portable
