n8's Guide / Locations for "Hot Cells" :3 - n8 - 10-07-2016
(there is multiple visual representation throughout this guide, i.e. colours / videos. I apologise in advance if the colours make it hard to read)
Hey all, if you have ever played jailbreak you should know about what a hotcell is. However not everyone understands where the hotcells are. I have been asked so many times for where the hotcells are and i think this guide should help peoples needs.
Within this guide, i am including a mixture of hotcells from multiple maps included in our map pool. I aim to inform viewers on what spawns where and where vents / teleporters are.
Hopefully with this knowledge people are able to defuse the hotcells at the start of a map and have a fun filled round.
What are hotcells?
Certain rooms (cells) where prisoners (terrorists) are confined to when the start of a jailbreak game starts sometimes include something out of the ordinary. This ranges from vents / teleporters to secondary guns. These certain cells give a prisoner the chance to either escape or rebel easily and efficiently. This cell gives the prisoners a huge edge over others, however there is always a hint of danger involved within being spawned in a hotcell.
"Hot Cell: A cell which contains a primary/secondary weapon, vent, teleporter or other escape mechanism."
Do hotcells have certain rules / requirements?
The answer is yes. If the warden chooses to acknowledge the hotcell, the warden is able to give orders out to the prisoners inside the hotcell. The prisoners must comply with the orders given by the warden or else they can be punished (killed). If the warden or guards do not acknowledge hotcells and do not give orders, prisoners in hotcells are able to whatever they please (like any other prisoner not in a hotcell).
Orders i recommend to give to prisoners in hotcell:
1. Hotcell ass on bars
2. Knifing vents is KOS
3. *If a player has a gun* Throw the gun to the back of cell, and put your ass on the bars. Going for the gun at anytime is KOS.

There is only one hotcell on peanut, this cell includes a vent which leads to the gun room.

Renegade only has one hotcell, this contains a secondary firearm.
Hotcell location:
jb_spy_vs_spy_beta7
For spy vs spy, there are two hotcells on the map. These cells are cell 1 and cell 7. Both cell 1 and 7 contain vent cells, however spy is an interesting map as the hotcell changes. i.e sometimes the vent is only breakable in one cell and it changes between cell 1 and cell 7. This means the guards need to check both cells and figure out what cell is the hotcell and contain the breakable vent.

jb_mountaincraft_v5
Mountaincraft has one hot cell, this happens to be located the closest to gun room. This cell contains a secondary firearm.
Location of the hotcell is:
jb_lego_jail_v8
Lego consists of 3 hotcells, these include 2 vent cells and 1 cell with a secondary firearm.

I thought i would add this little map secret on lego, as i always get asked by so many people about it. This is the shower vent secret on lego.
Secret / bonus :
Here are the steps if you couldn't follow through with the video:
1. Aline yourself along the line of the shower
2. Turn on the showers by pressing "e", you must be looking a little to the left and above the shower nob
3. Spam "e" along the left side of the blank wall.
4. Wallah!

I worked hard on this little guide and i hope you have enjoy it and have gained something from it. I have seen a lot of new people learning to be a guard and joining CT, so this is aimed generally to those players as i know most players know about these hotcell locations / objects.

It's easy to tell the hotcell on spy vs spy it's just the one that's already open because you can never get there quick enough
