Can't Download Peanut - Printable Version

Can't Download Peanut - stu - 14-08-2016

Hey Guys! I've been having some problems downloading peanut. I've tried downloading it off the workshop, tried downloading it off the FDL (fast download from console) and tried to delete and re install numerous times. When i go to play the map on the server, it just has sends me back to the home screen and in console says this: Host_Error: "CMapLoadHelper::Init, map maps/jb_peanut_v3nws.bsp has wrong identifier"

Can I have some assistance?

Here are some steps to hopefully fix this (make sure CSGO isn't open when you try this);
1. Got your Steam library
2. Right click the CSGO application
3. Press properties
4. Go to the local files tab
5. Click on 'Verify integrity of game cache' and wait until it's done
Done! It should delete and reinstall any files that were corrupt.
If this doesn't work I can't help sorry, this is my 'go to' solution of somethings wrong with CSGO.

Kinda looks like CSGO is already picking up the map. Go to your games directory and check if the maps there, if it is then delete it. If not you can directly download the map off the FastDL server here: http://fastdl.invexgaming.com.au/fastdl/InvexG/11201/maps/

Not sure if you've fixed the problem but if not you can go to the game files here:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Counter-Strike Global Offensive\csgo\maps

And delete the map files you're having trouble with and re downloading them should fix the issue.
I've done this myself with another Jailbreak map.
