Can Sophos track what we do? - Mourning Wood - 16-11-2016
Now tons of schools are forcing their students to download sophos, not the home edition btw. Anybody know if it can track what we do? Also, can they see what we do whilst off the school network? Previously they could only monitor us at school, but with Sophos...who knows.
Anybody familiar with the software?

Nope, my school has airwatch agent that only works on school networks so im assuming it might be the same

my school makes us all download zootube, pretty sure its a offline program thats tracks your pets aswell

Though, come to think of it I may have disabled it before I started doing naughty stuff so it might.

Yea it did, I didn't realise how many schools actually used Sophos until you made that shoutbox post

I have both lol but when you create an admin account thro the diagnostics exploit you can disable sophos and delete lan school

The thing is our school network doesn't let you connect unless sophos is installed

Yeah I don't think that sophos can actually track anything it's an anti-virus slash anti-program thing. Like if you try and open monodevelop or something it will give you an error.
