Shoutbox and Mentions Updated - Bot Invex - 23-06-2017
We've updated the Shoutbox and Mentions (tagging) plugins for the forums.
If you find any bugs, post them here.
Shoutbox changes:
- MyCode now works in the shoutbox, example is Youtube and SoundCloud etc. This may be disabled.
- Shoutbox integration added! You can now receive alerts when mentioned in the shoutbox with a link to the shout that mentioned you. People who abuse this feature will have shoutbox privileges revoked.
This is a reminder for people to set their alert preferences here:
https://www.invexgaming.com.au/alerts.php?action=settings
You can decide if you want to receive alerts when mentioned in a post, shoutbox or if your post is liked.

You can't delete your own messages in shoutbox, it says I don't have permissions. Sad lyfe

If you tag then delete your shoutbox post it still says on the persons tag list it's there.

This has been fixed, you should be able to delete your own shouts now.

This is intended behaviour. Once you tag someone, it will alert them.
If you delete it the alert won't disappear.
So avoid deleting a lot of shouts over and over, instead consider using EDIT.

MyBB code doesn't work anymore in shoutbox Byte
Example:
This is the VIP page!
Instead of that ^ it would print out the code as well, like:

Yeah I disabled it.
The other MyBB codes were too damn large and messed up the shoutbox.
If we wan't MyBB codes in the shoutbox, we have to make custom ones that fit (have a low height).
I think for now we'll just stick to links.
