I actually agree with @gutter. Edits are nice but I watch them for the edits pretty much even if the frags are still good. I prefer a regular highlight video with good gameplay over heavy edits (like the ones that slow down playback and add the contrast/brightness etc).

The point of those small 30 second clips is not to show of frags, no one really watches them for the frags the whole thing about "edits" is to show of your ability to create something thats why people host Edit Comps and provide people with the same frags that everyone must use to participate in the edit comp, the winner is drawn off their ability to edit not their fragging, the whole point of this thread is to show off peoples own personality thrown into a simple frag

I prefer that people find a balance between the two. Overdone editing is way too common in my eyes, it's nice to be able to tell what the hell is actually happening.
If you can edit in a way that lets people enjoy both the frags and the editing (see; Clicky Crisp) then the edit is golden.
