4th option.
Have 2 awp round types, awp+pistol/awp-no pistol
Or you guys will probs want pistol removed completely which can be done.

That's what l suggested but it might be too much work for you guys to implement it. The ideal option would be to choose between the two.

Two different AWP rounds would be awful, it would split the number of people playing AWP rounds for a pretty meh reason.
Even though I personally prefer any pistols during AWP rounds it looks like people prefer to have AWP only with no secondary weapon.
Hello World Lets make this change and trial it for a while then revisit it to see if its well received.

Byte Hello World you can implement a system where you only want straight awp, and a system that has awp with pistol and awp no pistol, what this creates is that the people who want straight awp can have it while the people wanting pustols can verse people who want pistols and people who want no pistols

Byte Already said it would just make two separate queues for a very minor problem, which is true. We could just go in between and use default pistols? This would probably satisfy both parties.
Edit: The choice between AWP rounds with no pistols and normal AWP rounds is implemented now

Yes, I've changed it so there are two round types. Awp + pistol and awp + no pistol.
Also added in scout round, deagle and knife.
