Plus it doesn't take more than 20 seconds to get out of jail more like 5-10 seconds judging on the map jail. Yeah, I'd actually rather we set it to 15 seconds. RE: Plugin - -B1 - 04-07-2015 The losing of hp wouldn't be that noticeable, maybe bring up and icon saying "you are losing health, move now!" Or something along those lines RE: Plugin - Byte - 04-07-2015 (04-07-2015/01:47 AM)-B1 Wrote: The losing of hp wouldn't be that noticeable, maybe bring up and icon saying "you are losing health, move now!" As previously mentioned it isn't possible on all maps, but also I think it requires a more generic function where you shouldn't have to pre plot each maps coordinates for jail. Thus I'd propose just an anti camp plugin or zone plugin ( zone being how the map vmf decides on zones) that provides the above features RE: Plugin - Byte - 05-07-2015 (05-07-2015/01:17 PM)reminiscences Wrote: I think a chat message would suffice for >20 seconds in jail followed by 10 slaps or so if they go beyond 30seconds. Don't think its possible unless we make coord grids for each jail? Otherwise you'd have to edit every map which is more of an issue. I think we could do this: 20 seconds in jail - warnings in chat 30 seconds + in jail - hp slowly starts disappearing (in similar fashion to lifedrain event rounds). In jails where its basically impossible to get out, we could disable this plugin? What are the opinions on this? Sounds good, but I'd prefer it to be stricter. Think of it, no-one should ever be in the jail of ski for 20 seconds or more. Count to 20 and imagine someone spending all that time in jail, it's just silly. My idea would be 10 (or 15) seconds for warnings, 15 (or 20) for losing health. Take note, obviously if we did 15 seconds for warnings, 20 would be the point at which time starts, just incase that's misinterpreted. RE: Plugin - -B1 - 06-07-2015 We shouldn't be harsh, we need to make it rewarding if you get out of jail, maybe more credits if you hop out before the 20 second mark? And I'm still going with that we should use a chat plugin maybe a really bright colour like green, or light blue? Or something along those lines If only there was a message right in there face on the screen telling them RE: Plugin - gutterfucker - 07-07-2015 We still need to consider the fact that people who deliberately camp jail won't have any reason to leave if we simply flash text at them. There needs to be an actual incentive for them to leave. Perhaps that incentive should be in the form of "not losing x health every y seconds after z seconds have passed". |
