RE: Asking for Forgiveness - noname - 20-02-2017 Or just make a command like !forgive and it sends a pop-up message to warden yes (1) or no (2). If yes, chat message in a color saying player has been forgiven like green or red chat message saying Player is Condered as a rebel. Idk RE: Asking for Forgiveness - Seth - 21-02-2017 noname it'd have to be coded, which isn't needed, and also if the warden weapon swaps there pretty much fucked. RE: Asking for Forgiveness - Soona - 21-02-2017 Or get rid of the rule because it's dumb? You should just be classed as a rebeller unless the warden responds. You shouldn't force the warden to make like 20 decisions a second. RE: Asking for Forgiveness - asriel - 21-02-2017 I would go with nonames suggestion but the thing is non-rebellers can abuse that command and what if there is 5 rebellers that want to be forgiven, you have to take that into account. The button freezing part is stupid, we should just go back to the old ways. RE: Asking for Forgiveness - Soona - 21-02-2017 I don't see why the rule was even added though. There was a rule already where the warden can't trick prisoners, so prisoners who had been forgiven can't be killed until they rebel again. This rule is very stupid and makes every game of jailbreak feel very rigid and "same same". It disrupts rounds; guards try to move the prisoners around and are constantly getting bombarded with pleas for forgiveness which they have to respond to to deal with a prisoner (who has rebelled and shouldn't even have this option) It spams the chat; the chat is just filled with it text and voice. Creates even more situations with being yelling over the top of each other. It gets people punished for no real reason; guards get slayed and miss out on the fun just because they didn't hear someone say something amongst 100 other voices. It doesn't even fix anything the situation still plays out the same and adds these problems ^ Situation with the rule: "Warden can I be forgiven?" yes. "Warden can I be forgiven?" no. "Warden can I be forgiven?" *no answer* random fag was banned from ct for 30 minutes. Without: "Warden can I be forgiven?" yes. "Warden can I be forgiven?" no. "Warden can I be forgiven?" *no answer* prisoner gets killed and round continues. RE: Asking for Forgiveness - Forgotten - 21-02-2017 'No T's can be forgiven this round'. Problem solved RE: Asking for Forgiveness - Soona - 21-02-2017 Forgotten Yea that's pretty much what I mean but just have that as default. RE: Asking for Forgiveness - fluxxx - 21-02-2017 Soona Not having that rule would benefit Jailbreak a lot because 1. The T's can actually have fun and do map games instead of waiting for the warden to make their mind up and making sure the rebelling T(s) is/are button frozen, 2. It would make the round more smooth and organised unlike many times where it has been complete and utter mic/text spam and 3. You wouldn't have people spamming "slay" at the previous warden because they couldn't hear the request over all the people speaking. RE: Asking for Forgiveness - stu - 21-02-2017 You'd think if a CT saw a rebeller randomly button freeze they would assume they are surrendering? It's not like a rebeller would just button freeze for no reason. Common Sense People. RE: Asking for Forgiveness - Ownaj - 21-02-2017 Agree with Soona |
