RE: i9 Hype - MillionsOfPeach - 31-05-2017 ridiculous overkill lmao - unless you do hundreds of renders a day on cad RE: i9 Hype - Soona - 01-06-2017 Good for people compiling shit I guess? RE: i9 Hype - ev0 - 01-06-2017 Literally the only use is for Render/High Calculation processing. Which most normal PC's will never use this amount of pipeline Bandwith. Its basically a slightly worse Xeon with intergrated graphics. and the problem with these chips are there like 1.8k. So at the end of the day if you wanted to use one for streaming. you could literally just build a 2nd stream pc for not much more of the price and pass your video to a capture card. Its just a enthusiast chip tbh. All proper workbench PCs will use dual Xeons etc. RE: i9 Hype - MillionsOfPeach - 01-06-2017 AMD will create something similar with better pricing soon as well. The price on these are definitely not justifiable RE: i9 Hype - Vinyl - 01-06-2017 MillionsOfPeach http://www.pcworld.com/article/3199013/computers/amds-threadripper-struts-onstage-with-radeon-rx-vega-and-a-big-surprise.html RE: i9 Hype - MillionsOfPeach - 01-06-2017 (01-06-2017/05:28 PM)Vinyl Wrote: MillionsOfPeach http://www.pcworld.com/article/3199013/computers/amds-threadripper-struts-onstage-with-radeon-rx-vega-and-a-big-surprise.html That was quick..
