A question about the zombie day, has fall damage been taken off non-infected people because a couple times I should of fallen and died but I didnt take any damage and sometimes i fall from the same spot and I die?? Just a little confused

Pretty sure for the first 60 seconds (or when no zombies have been chosen) it's off too avoid people from dying early and missing out, but once the zombies have been chosen fall damage will be turned back on.
