Hahahaha already got it approved before the thread was up actually, L4G and Tick are working on making sure the rules are clear so that some admins do not abuse their powers I just made this thread so that it was clear for everyone now. Tick and L4G will probably make it more clear soon. Tyvm though mate RE: Do all admins actually know the rules? - n8 - 11-04-2017 Sir Lagalot please learn the rules thoroughly RE: Do all admins actually know the rules? - Jaay - 11-04-2017 retardadmins lew Andi RE: Do all admins actually know the rules? - PhoeniX - 12-04-2017 Fight this communism, we shall put a stop to this! RE: Do all admins actually know the rules? - Forgotten - 12-04-2017 Admins v normies. RE: Do all admins actually know the rules? - Masta - 12-04-2017 Okay. How am I going to explain this to you... Ah, okay. These little rules that players and admins create are used as guidelines when in the server trying to lay down the law. It's the practical version of the rule. For example the delaying rule, "if your the last person you must hunt", this won't always be adhered to, it depends on the situation. It's not an actual rule, simply a method by which the rule is applied in practice. Please, don't call out admins for going afk when most of their team is alive. This isn't delaying at all. Hope this helped. RE: Do all admins actually know the rules? - Byte - 12-04-2017 To address this, there are only a handful of surf rules available here: https://www.invexgaming.com.au/motd/surfMOTD.php These are very general basic rules as surf doesn't need many rules to work well. Admins can of course make their own judgements as if you are delaying or not but they should not be making up rules that don't exist on this page. The "No delaying rounds by hiding from other players or refusing to surf" is pretty self-explanatory. It actually has nothing to do with being afk. If you're afk you'll be automatically swapped to spectator by a plugin. If you are afk and are the last person alive etc an admin will slay you so the round is not delayed further. Obviously admins are not going to be slaying every person in sight when they go afk mid round as they might only afk for a short while etc. Anyway, a new surf MOTD has been requested multiple times by Combat Surf admins and will probably be added shortly. First you go off telling me what I did was delaying, now you're telling me that it's not delaying to be afk while you have teammates alive? It does not matter how many teammates are alive, the rule clearly states that you are not allowed to hide from other players or refuse to surf. It does NOT tell us you can be afk if you have teammates alive! Going afk while most of your team mates is alive is okay for like 15 secs or whatever but not trying to kill people for a solid 40 while u are one of a few left alive is delaying. As Byte said it's pretty self explanatory. |
