[URGENT] Server lag upto 30% choke - OldMate - 04-03-2018
Hi all just making a quick post on the 1v1 aim server.
It appears for the last 2-3 weeks the server has been experiencing extreme lag due to choke sitting anywhere from 5-30% every round, sometimes resulting in the server locking up completely.
This is the case for everyone on the server when the issue is happening

i can confirm this but i do not think its fixable for the short future, its on stream lines end (from what ive heard) its been happening on all 3 server where there has been immense lag sessions during rounds and stuff so im not to sure Byte can do anything about it ( please correct me if im wrong )

Can confirm this, on 1v1 bow the choke was at 40% at some points makes it really hard to play. But Jae this is only occuring on 1v1 but it wasn't choke it was just freezing.

Yeah i gathered it may be the host suffering congestion/hardware issues just wasn't sure if Invex was aware of the severity of the issue.

Honestly not sure what I can do. I can talk to Streamline about it but they will likely say everything seems normal and there is nothing they can do.

If this is the case i would be looking into changing host all they have to do is spend 60 seconds on the server or a few minutes monitoring the hardware to see there is something extremely wrong on their end. It is one of 3 things either congestion, ,faulty hardware or the mods on the server are creating mass errors that make the server unstable, I have played alot of hours on this server and for the last 3+ weeks has been UNPLAYABLE for me

I can confirm this, when the server lag hit combat surf, I joined all other servers to test it out.

Its not any custom plugins we have as on 1v1 they haven't changed for months.
Last 1v1 change was fixing the preference saving bug.
Anyway, i'll look into this a bit more in detail to see if I can find anything.

The current issue is not related to this issue.

How difficult would it be to change hosts? Been noticing significant issues little before christmas as I had told you earlier, and it's just gotten worse Byte
