what the title says ^^
one of the reasons of the decline of players of surf is the people without skills using bizons or p90's and it's not fun. There's people in top 10 who only use SMG's and dont have any actual skill.
If this suggestions a duplicate just tell me and I'll delete the thread.

This will be a very hard one to implement in and probably take awhile to remove all the smg spawners.

YO DONT EVEN PLAY SURF @"pepedoge" the smgs are fine, but what on some maps where there arnt awps, then what ? we arnt aloud to use smgs ?

You don't need to remove all the SMG gun spawners? All you have to do it restrict the weapons.

Please stop with the stupid posts, it's a fair concern.
Perhaps looking into having body and head armour as the default might be an idea. This used to be the default during the first half of last year but I am unaware what the reasoning was to change it. Having body and head armour makes smgs, shotguns, and pistols less viable and will encourage the use of awps and aks. These are just my thoughts though of course.

Its not like they are overpowered, low dmg, shit long range... The only cancer smg in surf is p90 so +1 for only removing p90 but then again i dont think it would be fair only removing one smg

I understand your concern but this restricts people's fun. I know it is pretty annoying to die to a SMG and i know what its like (Simon). as Sir Lagalot said head armour and body armour is a easy well, middle ground i guess, from removing all smg's. That's why i always buy head armor on dust and maps with buy zones because of that reason exactly.

Jae I do happen to play surf a fair amount. Also for the maps without awps, (are there even maps without awps?) add awps! Replace the SMG's with the AWPs.
Anyways people following me and using P90's and MP9's simply puts me off. If you miss the first awp shot you're pretty much guaranteed death. People were using SMG's on dust 2 earlier today and the people dying just left because they didn't even get a chance to grab the awp (due to them being new). I think we can all agree that SMG's or even AK's and M4's are just cancer to play against.
Also, Don't rebuttal against this saying "oh you're just shit ahh get good". It doesn't help and makes you look like an idiot. It's also an irrelevant post sooooo
