Byte I tried it with two accounts and the link works, it links directly to a normal discord invite page. I'm pretty sure it's invalid because he's already in the server. Correct me if I'm wrong though.

Okay I figured it out.
Its showing up as expired because you currently have a permanent ban on Discord.
