Hey I'd like to know which 'home page' people mainly use on the forums.
Some information isn't shown on both and I'd like to fix it.
Do you mainly use the 'portal' page or the 'forums' page (from nav bar)?

Forums as it is the most sensible in terms of UX.

Always mainly used the portal page however the other is really good for looking for specific posts/areas

You may want to change to what parts of each home page you prefer as each have different functionality and I would presume for a lot of people they haven't considered the other one.
