More Weapon Selection - agonyzz - 27-04-2016
Hey everyone,
I had an idea for the retakes server that I thought would be fairly useful in the warmup process as thats generally what retakes is used for. Am I right?
It would be nice to have more of a selection to what weapons you can spawn with, i.e: Famas, Galil, Scout, etc etc.
OR/And
The occasional Eco practise round, Force practise round, etc etc.
This adds a little bit of a practise for those rounds that you would expect in a typical match making game.
Coming from someone who is quite shit at those rounds, it would be nice to be able to practise them more in a retake server. And also practise with the lesser used weapons.

The Eco round thing I do not really think is nessasary but the options for galil or famas I really like

The more choice the better.
Having eco and force rounds as optional would be best.

I suppose the pistol-only retake server mostly caters to eco-round practise.

The pistol only server indeeds caters to those people. Will look into adding more guns to normal retakes though. Awp/scout probs won't be added as one person is chosen via a preference.

Gotta say, I am really impressed with how quickly you guys manage to jump on Bug Reports, suggestions, etc etc. A lot of servers and communities either don't work on any of these things at all, or take weeks/months to get around to even looking at them.

Not sure on the viability but I used to play on a retake server that would progress through them. First round of the map would be pistols. Next round was famas/galils/scouts and then the final round was M4/AK/AWP. Currently running 20rounds we could possibly run this format twice per map.
