Admin Selection. - n8 - 02-05-2016
Firstly I would like to state this message to the staff team.
Okay, so recently I've been thinking that this would be a decent idea. This idea would be that not only admins+ can comment on admin applications. If members and such are able to comment their opinion I believe that it would give a more ideal opinion of the player. By this if members can give their opinions than this would show how they fit in the community. There a times when admins don't see all of the players qualities and players see it, but can't give their thoughts, as only admins have the privledge to comment on admin applications.
I believe an admins perspective is the main key, but I also think that the other members of the community should have a say, as they are the ones who should benefit from an admin.
I know their thoughts won't impact highly, but i think it would be easier to decide if the community have a good/bad appeal on the person.

I think the general sentiment of the feeling towards an applicant generally apply to admins too if the general player pop. does as well. I also do believe there is a reason that response is admins only. Also I think many players would put in unnessecary opinions or rage etc

I reckon this would be cool if implemented, sure the admins should have the say. But I reckon it would it be good to get a view of what the non admin community thinks of the applicant

+1 as you said only Invex members+ should be able to vote. Would be great if implemented but Admins responses will always mean more and have most impact on an admin app.

It wouldn't be the worst idea. The Admins don't always see everything they do when whilst playing the server, Good or Bad.

Thing is, if an app gets enough good feedback it gets judged further in admin only section. So in the end admins+ get most of the choice anyway.

Despite the benefits of the concept, this would inevitably result in applicants asking peers to approve of their application; greatly disturbing the sole process. I would like to think that if someone would genuinely like to vouch for the applicant, they would be allowed to talk with an admin. Essentially, admins are the users who would need to cooperate with each other, so if an admin isn't aware of the applicants capabilities, then the applicant may need to contribute more. Although, as

Ill Talk to Byte, We may not let you +1 or -1 an app but we may let you comment your opinion. However it is very hard sometimes as some people will bad rep someone out of spite if they dont like someone, hence us only letting admins vote.
