So basically non-gaming related shit here but i want to rant about this shit.
So today i got called into work randomly to see my boss. Basically he "let's me go" as the work on a monday night isn't getting finished.
Normally if i wasn't pulling my weight and not doing my job i'd be fine with this. But no.
On a monday night I am the ONLY i repeat ONLY floor staff working (Supermarket stocking shelves, facing, dropping etc) For the whole night i am alone working on floor. Every other night there is 2 at minimum 3-4 usually people working per night, and these people have atleast 1-2 years experience in a supermarket. So my boss "let's me go" because a non experienced staff who is forced to work alone isn't getting the work done is absolutely bullshit. I didn't get mad or talk back to him because i'm actually sensible in real life but yeah. Fired after getting literally fucked by my incompetent boss/managers who don't know how to manage staff at fucking all. As a non-experienced staff member i was called in 17 times in 2 months to cover someones shift because of how shit the rosters were set out. fuck that.

Thanks and yeah i was kinda getting the feeling i was just being used. the boss man pays me $12.20 an hour for "youth rates" and just as that "youth rate" time limit is about to end im gone. another funny thing is that when i was interviewed i showed up and got told that he forgot and didn't come in. Had to have a 2nd interview lmfao

@ohhnate yeh it sucks that it ended like that as my first job but the more that i think about it and put 2 and 2 together it just seems like they were using me for cheap labour. 2 weeks out from reg pay i get fired? Oke not suss

Yeah that's pretty cheap from their end. @"TripleCDawg" can't even afford lunch after 3 hours of work tho.
