Admin Application for Surf Combat - Richard Cranium - 10-05-2016

Well I don't know about deserving it, but I think i'd be valuable to the current admin team and invex community as a whole. For the following reasons:

I am mostly active early morning to mid/late morning. At this time there is rarely ever an admin. From the time I get on at 5-6, I usually leave by 7:30-8 because of mic spammers, teleport campers, spawn campers or hackers. I have been admin on multiple servers in the past, however not on CSGO. A few admins have told me to apply, and after the last week of early morning plays I feel that invex need an admin on early desperately.

+1 Haven't had a problem with him, also talking about the problems earlier in the day makes me feel like someone that's on early to admin would be nice.

I have to agree with h0pz here, I have seen you be disrespectful to the younger kids on the server.
But for now I am staying neutral.

You mean to the ones that provoke me by mic spamming for 10 solid minutes screaming my name into the mics? That rejoin when I !sm them? Yes, I am not going to be polite to someone who has made it a mission to ruin my time. I am friends with most of the young regulars including water, who everyone seems to pick on

I get what you're saying, but some of them do it on purpose, when it happens to admins, they get a instant mute 99% of the time that lasts a minimum of 15 minutes, I cop it for hours on end.. Nobody can deal with being harassed non stop indefinately, and by the time an admin gets called in they go quiet, the admin leaves and they start again.. I don't believe I have shown disrespect to anyone that has followed the rules of the server to begin with

I don't know you or the server enough to make a decision but, if you don't mind me adding this.

Just mute them? And if certain players leave and rejoin, just remute them? If they do this constantly and you start to feel stressed out or angry, just record what's happening and make a thread about it. Hopefully admins will then see what's happening (as you mentioned that the certain players stop when admins go online, if you have evidence in a forum post, they should be able to see the full effect) and talk to the specific player/players.

I have muted and remuted more times than I can count, they change their name to duplicate someone else's making it impossible to just type their name into !sm, I play to play, not to stop what I'm doing every 2 minutes to mute people who blatantly won't follow the rules, they're also the ones who will spawn camp constantly, or sit at a teleported with a Negev... They get muted eventually when an admin arrives, but once the mute is lifted the admin is always gone and they begin doing it again. I can't use the status command in game for whatever reason which makes a demo of them useless as they frequently change their name or copy another's Sad

RE: Admin Application for Surf Combat - n8 - 11-05-2016

Richard Cranium just use a recording software that records the screen. Record them mic spamming, right click their name and bring up their profile (while recording), then if they change their names afterwards, anyone can check recent names/profile pic. As well as link their profile with proof (recording) in a forum post and you should have no issues.

This requires a tiny amount of effort, and it should hopefully keep players at bay, and stop them mic spamming.
