Removing Team Balancing - Kai - 16-05-2016 Regarding the team balancing on Jailbreak. Quite a few times, I've been automatically swapped to CT, without having a choice. I am an absolute terrible CT and basically NEVER want to CT. Is there a reason it autobalanced? Just got bent over and penetrated by auto balance, accidentally pressing my 1 key and claiming warden, not knowing what to do. Autobalance is annoying for people who don't know how to CT, or don't want to CT. Dunno how easy it would be to implement it tho as Byte or Rem might have to code the pluging or whatever. RE: Removing Team Balancing - Seth - 16-05-2016 This is also a problem for people without mics, as they are auto-swapped and they end up receiving a warning etc, for not using their mic even though they had no choice. I feel Josh's idea would be an amazing solution but hey, better said then done c:. Also, to avoide the warns I mentioned prior, maybe an auto mic-check every 2-4 rounds to prevent the problem re-occurring. RE: Removing Team Balancing - DESTINY - 16-05-2016 I agree. Many times I have been auto swapped and have to request a Admin to swap me. Maybe implement something where it asks you if you have a mic or want to go ct. RE: Removing Team Balancing - Luke - 16-05-2016 A good solution would be to implement a simple command such as !allowguard & !disableguard which basically puts a argument/paramater on the player which the auto balancer ignores that said player if they have the argument from !disableguard. Then if they decide they want to guard they can simply type !allowguard and it will remove the argument/param. The auto balancer picks people from the !guard queue and if there aren't any it picks randoms. So there is no way to properly balance without forcing some people to CT. |
