Forums Moderators / Administrators - MiKapp1t - 18-05-2016
Hello!
I would like to suggest an idea regarding the Invex forums.
I think that introducing the role of 'Forum Moderator' would be helpful, as it gives a wider range of people the opportunity to associate and contribute as well as it relieves hassles from administrators and moderators who have a passion for the servers and are game-orientated.
The introduction of this role would also improve the management and organisation of the Invex forums.
I, for one, prefer managing organisations rather than playing purely due to the convenience, and I would assume their would be other like minded people who may not have constant access to computers, etc.

The forums are really managed by staff and global admins. Although admin groups manage their specific forums, eg. A JailBreak admin will manage the Jailbreak section in the forums.
We used to have a position for this called "Forum Head" which was taken up by Gutter, it was later on removed because we saw there was not much of a purpose for it, because admins, globals and staff members all manage the forums.
I doubt this will go through to be another rank in the ranking system, unless Byte wants this.

Not trying to hate on your idea, but i agree with @"Mclovin", admins on certain servers already moderate the forum section for their part, as well as other admins manage/inform players, wether not meeting the requirements in applications and other issues. I feel as a role for forum moderator isn't really necessary, as the only thing they could have access to would be banning/ip banning players from the forums and informing players when they do something wrong, eg placing something in the wrong section. However as i've mentioned admins (and players) already do that, the only other thing that i think a "forum moderator" could do is move posts into different sections, which g-admins and staff do already.
EDIT: Just wanted to state that this is my thoughts, nothing personal.

Global Admins are also forum moderators. They have the ability to edit what is necessary.
