New Rank - Jepson - 19-05-2016
Would be great if a new rank was added for the servers that's a step bellow admin and is required to acquire admin and also gives prior experience before getting/going for admin. This is a build up rank for taking the role as an admin.
This rank should for named either: Trusted/Moderartor
This rank must be recommended by the rank itself or admin+ to apply for it.
Members may comment on their applications (erasing members being able to comment on admin apps)
These ranks may be promoted to Server Admin by a G-Admin+ if recognized as a good moderator, if not either they can get a recommendation form a Server Admin+.
If not seen as a good enough moderator to be promoted they either: stay the same or get demoted(most likely not, unless really inexperienced).
They don't have full admin perms. The main perms they may get are:
* !kick
* !mute
* !gag
* !silence
* !ban(MOST LIKELY NOT), if so, they can only ban for a certain amount of time (eg. can only ctban for 200 and ban for 60 minutes)
* !swap
* More depending on what's decided

Hmm, I personally feel like this isn't necessary.

Those are pretty much the majority of the perms server admins get. By giving these perms to any player that receives this "rank", it's pretty much contradicting the ADMIN role.
I guess from some players point of views, sometimes there are NO admins on and chaos happens.. but to be honest, with the new addition to the admin team lately, the only times there are NO admins on is when the majority of players are at school/work. I've noticed ALOT lately that the admin team on jailbreak have been really active which is awesome!
As jailbreak admins, it's our responsibility to keep a controlled environment.. by giving the responsibility to a new "rank" will (IMO) just create a state of flux.
Anyways, that's just my opinion.. I'd like to see how other admins feel about this too.
EDIT: another reason this isn't necessary is because new admins are given a TRIAL period anyways.

+1, i believe some certain players aren't fit for admin and i think testing them out as a "moderator" for a few weeks will help enhance their skills as an admin and show how they suit the role. Was also thinking about posting something like this, but i wasn't sure :3
Also i'm not mentioning it to anyone in particular, just think some people would benefit from being a moderator instead of a leap to admin. (me included)

Maybe just !kick, !mute, !gag, !silence, !swap, !slay coz those are pretty much just enough to control it to a minimum when no admins are on.
and itll be easier to judge if someone is going to be fit for the role of admin rather than just going and basing it off someone having no experience with perms.
This way they have experience and gives a more judgeable pathway towards the higher rank. Prince
EDIT: admins have way more perms as well: ( !cancellr, !rename, !freeze, !burn, !warn etc.)
EDIT: The admins on trial have full perms anyway dont they? This is just a completely separate rank with different abilities which makes it easier to judge based off how they handle situations, members don't have perms and they cant exactly control/handle situations, so it would be difficult to judge someone from going from NO PERMS to an ADMIN. Prince Just a more blatant way of knowing if they would fit the role.

Im pretty sure this has been suggested before, but it did not get implemented. Plus in my opinion, the ranking system that we have set up right now, is pretty good and i don't see a problem with it. I the only problem is when admins aren't on, but regardless there is still a possibility of that still happening even with the moderator rank. Just to add, most of those commands are very abusable, and has a very large possibility of mods abusing them. So instead of having ban/kick commands they should only be able to warn people, which could still be abused or misused.
I'll leave the discussion up yo Hello World if he likes this idea or not.

Yeah I am against this idea too. If you are trusted to have this rank you may as well be admin... very abusable and if the server needs more control then just get more admins.

I 100% agree with Mccolvin, the perms given can easily be abused. ( @"Mclovin" )
