There should only be a max of 5 posts a day for guests (so they cant just make a account on the forums post 10 and go straight for member)
A max of 15 for members so they can comment on stuff and help people out
and unlimited for admins and staff due to +1'ing people and approving them for admin, member etc.

Honestly players need to be active on servers as well. So even if they post grind then they will be -1ed anyway and most likely denied if they are not going to be active.
If they decide to be active on the forums and participate in threads to be able to apply it's fine
No point limiting them.
What if someone just wants to comment but can't?

That doesn't really make sense. Players don't come on the forums if they're not active enough on the servers. They know that they're active on servers (otherwise they wouldn't apply because they know they would get -1d) so they just spam old posts (not all but a few) in the space of 10 minutes so they can apply for member. Having that said, they would probably be -1'd for that exact reason (spam posts).
I get where you're coming from Cameron but we don't get enough people doing it for it to be a problem. And even if it does happen, Global+ can reset post count (I've done it a few times) and warn the player to contribute properly. So this won't be needed unless we get like 5 people a day doing it.

If they are commenting stupid shit like "Lol" or something along those lines, then it'll probably be deleted anyway. Most people from what I see that are building their post's up are actually contributing to a topic.

To be honest this is a stupid and unnecessary idea. If someone goes for member with 10 posts, admins "usually" check to see what they are. They can view the time in between posts and also view the posts, so if they are spam to up the post count they will "probably" get rejected.
