Final decision on "Map Exploiting" - Kai - 03-06-2016
I think it would be nice to have a global decision on what is map exploiting and what is not, so there are no more complaints.
If you don't know what I'm talking about, on the Renegade jailbreak map, you are able to jet pack onto the roof, where there are SOME points where you can fall to the bottom of the map, and see through it. Many people are slayed for it and warned for it, so it would be nice to have a final ruling on what is map exploiting.
I do like @"Nate"' s perspective, where if they aren't looking through the map they are fine up on the roof. But I know some other admins have their own opinion.
Adding something to the rules, or just having every admin having the same view on the situation would be nice.

I feel like it falls under common sense that the map isn't meant to be played that way and being anywhere that is not normally reachable by Jetpack that feels like its exploiting is exploiting.
I mean you can't argue that falling to the bottom of the map from the roof is not exploiting, clearly its not meant to be possible.

Yes I know what you are talking about. @"Nate" has a good perspective on this and he should answer back. IMO I think that it is exploiting and it should be a firm rule.

yea all admins have different perspectives with map exploiting but ive been slayed a couple of times for map expoiting my bad. but i think all admins should have the same perspective on it so its fair on everyone.

All admins have different thoughts on this matter, personally I don't mind, I only have a problem if they can see through walls or be in a spot that people can't kill them from. If they are on the roof and in plain sight, I usually allow it, as well as other admins. But if they are not visible to others and can see through walls in their spot, I find that exploiting the map and will take action. Byte I understand where you are coming from and understand, but usually if people are up there it's fine, it is only when someone hides behind walls and looks through walls, that is not allowed. If you want me to start informing people to not go up there I will, but right now I don't see the issue if the are in open view and anyone can shoot at them.

This is the Final decision on "Map Exploiting".
