Name Change Abuse - Forgotten - 31-07-2016
I believe that there is no "hacking" in this situation for name changing abuse, just people changing names a lot in a certain amount of time.
There has been 3 people (jfanG, Wolf and @AfricanWetDream) that have been permanently banned for this today, which I highly doubt was hacking, to me they are trusted as they play a lot (except Wolf, idk who he is lol).
Maybe a re-check of that auto ban plugin you use for quick name changes? Maybe the new update screwed with it? Is it up to date? Etc.
Anyways, I just don't think this would happen 3 times in one day and with players that play a lot.

Yep can confirm, 100% none of these guys new that there was a plugin that banned them for it. All these guys pretty active and trusted on the server so I doubt they hack.

I see what's happening now, this is the process that they do it so quickly...
1. They go onto the edit profile page
2. Deletes current name
3. Puts in new name
4. Presses enter
It then reloads the same page but with updated details then they repeat step 2-4 until banned.

I can confirm this is what JFang said in his post and what I did at the time via shift tab menu. (Also, I used to play a fair bit on Surf but my laptop broke so I've been inactive. This is my main account I play on: http://steamcommunity.com/id/TheOfficialWolf)
Edit: n8, I think its because we changed our names multiple times in a short period of time or at least that's what I did to get banned.
