It's a VIP feature, Admin+ get VIP features and colours in that list are the groups 'default' colours. Not sure what doesn't make sense? It's kinda easy to understand lol

When you have the admin title on the forums the vip part is not shown.
Besides last time I checked vip or not if you are admin you can still receive it

For the record ownaj is also a VIP and did donate.
Its essentially just a special perk for VIP users to give them a little extra.
