Explanation of Baiting - Forgotten - 15-08-2016
Hey,
I believe baiting should be further explained, I'm not gonna lie I'm pretty sure I've done the wrong thing, what I do is...
When close to a T (but not knifing distance) I try to get a couple of kills because prisoners rush me because I'm close to them (but still not knifing distance). Now I will admit I would even call this baiting, but I WAS going off the Jailbreak rules where it says...
"Baiting: Considered to be any CT, intentionally or unintentionally going within knifing distance of Ts."
I think this should be explained more, because I think going close to them, intentionally trying to make them rush you should be baiting as well.

BTW, admins have told me that Byte and Hello World say baiting is knifing distance AND one step, but that's not stated on the rules page either? Thx :p

+1 I was always told that if they have to move, it isn't baiting although 1 step sounds very reasonable. Could be added to rules so that the stupid CT's who feel the need to go just outside of knifing distance and then yell over their mic saying "IT WASN'T A BAIT, THEY HAD TO MOVE"...

+1 yeah this really needs to be changed especially because of all the stupid CT's that try to pick up a few kills to make them look good.

It's not a strict and hard rule that is defined that simply. It's more so trying to intentionally get them to attack or rebel against you. Within knifing distance is a rough guide of what admins are to use, but if you are clearly trying to nit-pick the rules or attempt to abuse them then you are still violating that rule.

Hello World: Naw, it's not too defined otherwise people try and cheat it, so we leave it very open and if people want specifics they can ask. Otherwise the rule thread would be 100x longer.
