Why is baiting a thing in LR. If the T doesn't have a defined area to stay in then baiting shouldn't even work. It can be abused as well, if a T were to be walking with CT's behind them, the T could stop walking and begin to knife any CT's that ran into them. I just don't see the point of it tbh

Its not a thing. People who say that "oh you baited me in lr" as an excuse to kill the ct are *abusing the rules*. Its not allowed.
**Edit: What i mean by this is that reblling in or before LR's is completely allowed. However "baiting in LR period" just isn't a thing ct's are meant to be watching and around the t's so that they know what the t will do in the LR. T's saying that its a bait are just rebels.

Eh, its a bit of an iffy situation. I've definitely had times when I'm choosing an lr and a CT will just be crouching in front of me with his back turned (purposely), that is just asking to be killed and is what i would consider a "bait". If a CT simply runs past you or something to watch what you're doing (race etc) then i wouldn't consider that a bait no. Also if a T purposely maneuvers himself to force a bait, then that's not considered baiting either (eg hiding behind a door)

So generally people should interpret as : don't intentionally sit infront of t's trying to bait and its not considered a bait if they just run through you or stand near you watching (DURING LR PERIOD AND LR)

In that situation (of the t just stopping and ct walking past) the ct shouldn't be killed by "baiting" imo. When ct's just crouch around you and jump around you on purpose, then that should clearly be considered baiting and the t should be allowed to knife them (imo).
