Jetpack GUI - Squidward - 13-09-2016 The jetpack GUI (tells you how many, of the 7 units of JP you have left) has been broken for a long time. It works very little of the time and it's a shame because it's a very useful tool, especially when doing something like gun toss and you need full JP. I have to assume it's some unfixable bug because this has been an issue for quite a while and everyone knows about it. Plox fix RE: Jetpack GUI - Razor - 13-09-2016 ^ halp fix dis #gamebreakingbug RE: Jetpack GUI - Squidward - 13-09-2016 (13-09-2016/06:50 PM)Razor Wrote: ^ halp fix dis #gamebreakingbug guise thes gaym is unplaiabel... i dont now wat i wil do withaut thes... plox ficks or i woant pley aneymoar RE: Jetpack GUI - jfanG - 13-09-2016 yass this needs to be fixed RE: Jetpack GUI - PoosKi - 13-09-2016 (13-09-2016/08:06 PM)Squidward Wrote:(13-09-2016/06:50 PM)Razor Wrote: ^ halp fix dis #gamebreakingbug My calender bug is way more important. Pl0x get your facts straight. RE: Jetpack GUI - Mourning Wood - 13-09-2016 Yea, it's really annoying and some jumps which require all the fuel in the jetpack become really boring when you wait like 30 seconds to make sure it fills up completely. RE: Jetpack GUI - Tuffy - 14-09-2016 Yeah this needs to be fixed. I play on Combat surf quite a lot and it's really annoying when you don't know if your jetpack is full or not, sometimes it might even get you killed or called out for jail camping especially on ski2! RE: Jetpack GUI - Byte - 01-02-2017 So the current method of displaying jetpack fuel is a hintbox. Unfortunately other hintboxes can override the jetpack fuel and your fuel level gets lost. One really neat solution would be to use overlays: http://i.imgur.com/655XI1c.jpg This way a bar can be displayed at all times (if you own jetpack) which displays your current fuel level. Unfortunately, overlays don't stack in csgo meaning you can only show 1 overlay at a time. In 1v1, we use overlays for various things but it doesn't have jetpack. In Surf, overlays are not used for anything. In JB, we use overlays for 'blood splatter' for the infected on special days (no jetpack anyway so no major issue) and for the 'Guards Win'/'Prisoners Win' end messages. So while it can be added, it also means we won't be able to use a 'always on' overlay for anything else in the future. However, as we don't currently use overlays for anything, using it as a jetpack indicator might be a good idea? RE: Jetpack GUI - Magikarp - 01-02-2017 Byte I think its a good idea atm to use it. We could always find a different solution if we need overlays for anything else RE: Jetpack GUI - Ownaj - 24-04-2017 Byte bump good idea |
