CT Queue Idea - stu - 23-09-2016
So I have heard from numerous people, (for example @"Cpt. Magikarp" ) have been complaining because they were auto-swapped when they don't want to be CT. I'm thinking that there would be a certain command preventing them to auto-swap to CT unless actually entering the queue via !guard.
As of now I don't have any ideas for what the command would be because, it's hard to word this in a small amount of words. I was wondering if people could think what it would be, comment it, and then I will review them and see which I personally think is the best option. Altough I like to CT, there are people who would prefer to be a T.

Like how in TTT, they have a menu to click (1) or (2) when you join the server so you don't / vice versa have to join Detectives?

The reason @"PepeDoge" is because of the ratio system. The ratio is meant to be 1 guard to every 3 prisoners ( 1:3 ) ( If I'm wrong just tell me) so the server detects that the ratio isn't right and then swaps someone random over in to the guard team to try fix the ratio.
Now with that out of the way, I personally think that this isn't necessary because of the fact that you can just swap yourself back if you get CT. I do get where you guys are coming from but I don't think this is needed compared to some other things in the server (BHOP & Jetpack problem/suggestion etc.) that's probably needed a lot more. I'll stay neutral but I think if this does get added then admins should still be able to swap them. This could be abused by people as in that if everyone on the server toggles it that no one goes warden which would fuck jail break over.

Because then it leaves the ct team down a ct. Say there's 1 person out of 10 who want to ct because it's Obama, and 2 get auto swapped and swap back. that leaves 1 ct to deal with 9 t's and you will never get through to an LR. I do understand it's a lot of work to implement it but it's a good thought

Type !pref CT or !pref T to tell the auto balancer you prefer to stay on a specific team.
It will then try to not pick you for auto balancing unless there is no other option (i.e. everyone prefers T on T team and guard queue is empty).
