Custom Special Days & Some Rules - Seth - 11-10-2016

Hey Guys,
As a majority of you would know, under the custom special day umbrella, the warden can pick a day which is known as a custom special day.
According to a different parts of the community, there isn't really a consensus confirmed within the rules, which makes it hell when a ct does decide to do a Custom Special Day as you have people arguing about if they can or can't rebel.

Preferably, t's should not, be able to rebel on these days. However, if a ct does do a Custom Special Day, he/she can't make it a run of the mill day and make t's complete set orders and do the same map games. Custom Special Days should be a fun alternative to the norm (hunger games, war-day and ffa death-match.)
If we could please have a rule introduced into the rule set that provides admins with a quotable reference in-game please.

Anyway, thank you for reading my thread.

You should NOT be able to rebel on custom special days, this is completely stupid.
A custom special day should act like any other special day (which you can't rebel in)

Seth Yo been doing your English h/w... whoa "quotable reference" = A+

I thought the rule was simply that no t's can rebel on a custom special day, though it does seem a bit bullshit exploiting this rule to do a normal day, anyway i'll go with a +1

Masta That's the common opinion, that you're not allowed too, however there isn't a rule specifically telling t's not to rebel during custom special days.
Maybe even a starting message could be better, instead of listen up, the warden's chosen a custom special day instead, it should be;
Listen to your warden, reminder, no rebelling.

+1 maybe an option for the warden if the t's can rebel? I would use this as a Pokemon day and make it so they t's can betray their trainer and start a rebellion. Because as a T being a goody too shoes can be quite ANNOYING

I dunno why there's the option for custom special day when the only custom special day that I've ever done is Pokemon day. Since there's only 1 custom special day that I've ever done I don't think there should be this much arguing when we could just implement Pokemon day into the Special Day pool and get rid of the custom special day.

RE: Custom Special Days & Some Rules - Seth - 11-10-2016

Squidward what you've said is why we need this rule. Pokemon days are the only days we can do without having t's run off and rebel. Imaging being able to do a full map ffa knife fight without stressing about someone grabbing a gun and shooting up all the t's and ct's.

It's probably a lot to ask but what I'd like to see in the custom special day is more control by the warden eg. Damage on/off, friendly fire on/off, low grav on/off, colour when knifed on/off (that one would be amazing for Pokemon day), beacons on/off etc. etc. etc. This would also solve the whole argument about rebelling if the warden turns damage off.
