Weapon Skin Store - Masta - 17-10-2016
Hey guys Masta here I’d just like to suggest a new section of the store that would be devoted to Counter Strike Global Offensive weapon skins that would (obviously) be unlockable with credits. There would be a few different sub-sections in the weapon skins section of the store: Rifle, Heavy, Pistol e.c.t. A subsection in those subsections for different weapons. E.g AWP’s, AK’s e.c.t. and another subsection for the skin you would want to purchase. Then you would spend a set amount of credits to obtain a weapon skin in those areas in different wears (FN, MW, FT, WW or BS.) The wears would cost the following: BS (100), WW (200), FT (500), MW (1000) and FN (2000).
Here is an example: fyi in this example the player isn’t VIP
1. I open the store
2. I go to the weapon skins
3. I find the rifle section
4. I navigate to the AWP
5. I choose the skin dragon lore
6. Then I would choose the wear (FN-BS)
7. I choose FN and pay 2000 credits for the FN dragon lore skin on the AWP
Regarding VIP’s:
Obviously this would hurt the number of people getting VIP which is a huge negative so here is a few ways to combat this. There would be no section for knives when buying skins so that only VIP’s could, VIP’s would still have access to all skins including skins that aren’t available on the weapon of choice and VIP’s may have access to knifes that aren’t already in the game such as the CSS knife (if that could be introduced).
Other notes:
Regular users could only purchase the regular skins for the weapon. For instance, they couldn’t purchase the dragon lore skin on an AK or the Vulcan skin on an AWP. I also think it may be cool to use credits to purchase the default knifes instead of giving them out free but I don’t know.
I only posted this to see the community’s reaction to this idea, and I don’t feel too passionate about it because I like VIP to be pretty exclusive though I feel it would present a good way to spend your credits and most people don’t want to work for their credits so they’ll buy it and help support the community! As VIP you would still be able to have all the skins available to you like VIP's do now.

tbh, I think it takes away from the servers income. 70% at least of the reasons why people buy VIP is normally for !ws (was for me as well) using this would take away from this system.

@"King" vulture but maybe it might motivate those that don't feel like paying for premium vip donate to the server as they only want to spend a few dollars to get extra credits as they want to buy the ws skins. +1 cool idea.

This won't be happening.
The VIP features we add are designed to keep Invex alive as servers are cheap.
If they could be obtained in other ways then no one will donate (which is exactly what has been happening for months now).
There are a lot of cool things coming in the future that you can use credits for (including on 1v1/retakes servers).
For now we have to rely heavily on VIP donations to pay the bills. Admins/Veterans also get VIP for their efforts/status in the community but it doesn't mean that you can't donate from time to time to help fund the servers. Anyway locking this thread now.
