Name Tags - Reaper - 06-07-2015
Hey guys i was wondering if we could bring something back we used to have on the server which is name tags we used to name people on the server as DJ eg piizza as dj cause he had the mic to do it and i my self and many other enjoyed it we could also add to this like my idea server helpers or something like that
the idea of server helpers is new members can ask questions to the helpers if they are confused or not sure of something ect the server helpers should not have the abilitie to kick ban slay ect as that would defeat the purpose of a admin
also i was thinking of the position of moderater which would be the rank before admin almost like a trial admin
to see if they are good or not the moderator would not have as many pleasures as the admin would have like banning and restarting the server but they could have mute slay ect
please do let me know what you think of this with your honest thought i would like to know what you think of this idea

I don't really have anything to say about the name tags, that's up to Byte, but the "server helpers" and "moderator" things are ideas we've looked into before but have decided against. Our "Server Admin" rank is our "Moderator" rank, and our Admin team currently runs everything just fine. If we add more layers to the Admin hierarchy, things become complicated and it becomes a massive pain to keep track of all these other people with powers. We're pretty much keeping the Admin structure as it is.

Furthermore a custom tag plugin is in the works.
It will allow you to have a custom nametag like "DJ" if you want etc.

Pssst Byte, plugin to show what keys are pressed when you have died and are watching others with the ability to turn it on and off.

Yeah. What rem said. It's quite common on skill surf servers. Could be helpful for teaching new players

I personally don't think so as the surfing is very easy.
Enough people have asked for this though so adding it with a toggle option (off by default) wouldn't be a bad idea.
