Duplicate account? - Hawaii - 23-12-2016
I was banned for a duplicate account. I have no idea what happened. I just logged in and a friend told me I got banned for 2800 minutes. Apparently for a duplicate account, This is probably because I went to my cousins house and he is banned off the server and the console auto banned the ip.
So i cant play invex anymore. Please remove this as it is not my fault and I do not want it on my record. Thanks

The duplicate account ban is an automatic ban that happens when your IP matches an IP that is already banned (but with different Steam ID). This stops people from simply switching to different steam accounts over and over when they get banned.
Obviously we can't verify if its your brother/cousin/anyone else who was on the account so bans from the same IP will affect everybody.
However, I can look into it more.
The current ban is for 2 days.
Its caused by a ban from a player called 'rood' (https://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198266333038).
What is your relationship with rood?

Your ban has already expired. Keep in mind that in the future, if someone at your house gets banned, you will also receive a ban automatically by the system.
