There are several different reasons, Specific Hack Groups are banned. I'm sure a Global or Staff would love to enlighten you behind this reason.
However i do know that even if you were to be unbanned, You would automatically be banned again if you remained in the group.

We ban certain Steam groups automatically that are affiliated with hacking/ddosing etc.
Anyway, you will be unbanned if you leave the group. If you rejoin it, you will automatically be banned again by the system.
Let me know when you have left the group.
