Command for calling admin - Reaper - 10-01-2017
Hello so I had a thought please let me know if this have been added or cannot be added but ive seen alot of servers have this and could help out invex servers
so I have suggetion that we can add a command which calls admin or shows a page of admins so if someone dosent have a admin friended or dosent know about the forums they can type in a command which can direct one or call one to the server.
I do apoligies for any inconvinience if this is not possible or already excist.

Anyways it wouldn't be a bad idea if it sent an automated message through the forums to either all jailbreak admins or the ones online on the forums/steam but the trouble of setting up a bot for it might not be worth it. Another annoying thing would be people abusing it by spamming it to spam messages. So a limit of once p/24 hours could work, or make it so you can only use it if you're member/have a certain playtime or a combination of those.

We've discussed this before, the way current plugins work is it displays it on a page or something.
People can already easily find the admins here:
https://www.invexgaming.com.au/showteam.php
The issue was:
- Admins did not want to be bothered at all times (i.e. if they were out on forums but not on their PC, no point in alerting them)
- The public systems are meh
I did toy with the idea of making a steam account called 'Bot Invex', getting all admins to add it and then sending steam messages to people via the bot when people used a !calladmin <reason> command.
Then people who abused this would obviously get punished.
It would be neat but a fair bit of work so its not top priority.

Due to this not being closed or accepted/declined, i guess it's open for others opinions, so.
I think this would be suitable, instead of being spammed by 5 people when someones breaking rules. Honestly a steam message via a bot is a decent way to defuse a situation. This helps as some players only know some admins and not all (due to inactivity). I agree if you wrongfully use the "!calladmin" command to annoy admins, a day+ ban should be handed out (if even added).

+1, easy to alert admins, if people abuse it sm_ban is a nice feature.

I've seen this on another server where you have to have a minimum playtime to use the command which is a good way to do it if we want to avoid spammers. Maybe having a 20 min delay to use it again for everyone would help (if one person uses it, no one else can for another 20 mins)
