LR Gun Planting Conflict - Crona - 22-01-2017
A few admins are in conflict over whether gun planting a T during Lr is aloud or not, some admins have told me Byte has come on and said this is ok but I would like G-Admins and Staff just to clarify gun planting rules during LR period Byte Luke Tick brandonn

CT21: GUARDS cannot plant/give guns to PRISONERS, unless it is needed in a game situation (e.g gun toss).
Why would you need to give a T a gun in LR? There would be literally no point, it's just silly to give them one and it's in the rules anyway

Byte said you're allowed to do anything in LR (unless it includes breaking freekilling rules, etc.)
You may want to give a gun to a Prisoner who has lost a guntoss or something and is rebelling, purely just because you want to do an LR game with the prisoner.

Unfortunately the rules do seem to imply gun planting is not allowed at all.
Our Jailbreak rules from the start gave T's the freedom to do whatever they want in LR (go to armoury, get guns, spray a wall), only thing that would make them KOS is failing to LR in time or rebelling. That is the way it should be.
Rules need to be amended to reflect this.
Potentially only rule: CT21 to add "except during LR period"

seems like such a odd thing, gunplanting the t so he can win the lr to lr with the specified ct? How often does this even occour honestly. Seems kinda weird to give them a gun and id consider it gun planting.

CT's can do basically anything they want in LR other then delaying an LR and freekilling.
If a T won an LR and the CT is delaying his death it's fine for a CT to give the T a gun so he can kill the delaying CT. I've always considered this fine.

I can agree with that (although it shouldn't happen since the CT is breaking the rules) but there should be no other scenario for you to give them a gun? If it's a guntoss and the T loses, they're more often than not going to rebel and being allowed to give them a gun (especially if the CT and T are friends) is just silly

Also I'd like to get the admins input on CT's breaking vents in LR period. Personally I don't have a problem with it and believe it should be allowed and have always acted this way. After all it's LR period and there isn't really a reason why it shouldn't be allowed, but that's not up to me to decide.

I'd say it's g since you can't tell the T's not to knife it and can't tell them not to enter the vent anyway

Its extremely stupid to disallow gunplanting when a T can go to armoury and pick up any guns he wants, walk right up to a CT, aim at them etc.
I'm not really understanding why people want 'no gunplanting'.
If a CT gunplants his friend so he can rebel (kill someone) and then !lr with him, thats a slay, swap and ct ban for favouritism.
I don't see any other benefits of no gunplanting during lr.
And Kaos breaking vents should also be fine during LR.
