How to Warden (Basics) - Seth - 25-01-2017

Introduction:

So hey, I am making this thread to help you, become a good warden. It is arguably the most significant role in  jailbreak role-play as they are the chief and essentially in-charge. There have been ample threads about the basics of wardening, but not much about how to act in specific situations or fun games to play as appose to freeze-bomb or climb. This tutorial will go through a decent length (finishing between 8 mins left through to 2 mins left depending on the amount of content you put into the round and potential rebellious) round, and how you should act and manage the t's to ensure you get to lr with success. The best way to improve is to watch more developed wardens and also through your own experience. Starting w/ maps such as renegade, which are extremely balanced, would be the best way to begin learning.

  STEP ONE: CELLS AND ORDERS

The first thing you should do as a warden is order hot cells to go ass on bars, so they can be interrogated, make sure you indicate which cells are hot-cells to prevent freekills. Hot-cells are cells they include, guns vents or teleporters, be sure to also say knifing vents are kos, to catch a few would be rebels trying to escape. Also, you would also want to provide orders quick quickly for all t's. Popular orders would be one step out and button freeze (levels of free-looking are up to you) one step out and crouch remain crouching on the spot, or tell the t's to rush to a specific location and button freeze.

STEP TWO: CENTRALIZE

The following step is substantially important as you will be moving all t's a common location so you can monitor them whilst you decide what you would like to play. Common places would include the top or bottom of main cell ramp/stairs, main cell medics or main cell cages. Maps such as Renegade or nrx have secret vents in main cell cage so be weary of escape mechanisms. When deciding what games to play, asking the t's to type in chat (to prevent mic-spam) what game they would like to play is a common way to prevent large amount of rebels rebelling. Games such as Simon Says, First Reaction Last Reaction and Hip, Hop Stop can be completed in the Main Cell Area. However more creative and more enjoyable games can be found throughout the map which t's would rather do than something they have done several times prior.

STEP THREE: COMMENCE MAP GAMES AND MOVING T'S

Beams are the best way to move t's across the map. They act as mini landmarks and can be used as mini centralizes if you need to move all t's away from weapons or rebelling t's. You can also use them to un-stack t's if you need to kill a t who is stacking in non-rebelling t's. Popular movement orders consist of the three levels on movement, running, shifting and crouching. Depending on your confidence and also the area you are in these different forms each have their own advantages. The fastest way to travel across the map is to order your t's to rush to my beams and button freeze on the latest and the slowest would be the crouch walk to my beams w/out detouring or delaying and button freeze on each beam. Each combination of movement speeds and when to button freeze can be used to help you. I would recommend doing something quick and easy to eliminate a few t's to help make your numbers more manageable. Something like a race or sometimes even moving t's across the map can eliminate a few. For a successful round, I'd recommend stating prior to the race rules such as allowing or disallowing jet-pack and b-hop, and making sure the t's must remain in the confides of the said game. Also, state as one of the rules the winner will receive a prize, if you want a quick game, tell the t to pick one another t to go to lr, however this isn't very fun as the round would only last two minutes. I'd recommend killing one or two t's chosen by the winner and continue on to other areas. Below I'll provide both popular and unique locations on different maps.

Soccer Pitch/Basketball Court or Outside:

Bullrush- A game where t's must actively attempt to make it to the other goal or side of an area whilst a ct has his/her health pumped up to make them  nearly un-killable and tries to knife the t's attempting to cross the area.

Soccer- Much like soccer in real life, two teams of t's actively attempt to score goals on in their goal and the winning team lives or gets a prize.

Basketball - Again, like the real life version, two teams attempt to shoot the ball into the opposite goal.

Ship, Shark Shore: A game where the warden calls three locations of a basketball court, shore (baseline) shark (mid-line) ship (other baseline) last t to make it to the said line dies, and running to the wrong line kills a t as well.

A Pool or Pond:

Slap Game: A game where the ct freezes all t's using freeze-bomb, then slaps the t's repeatedly so they fly into the air. Specifying  that landing out of the said water is kos this game is almost guaranteed to kill a few t's.

Races: Self explanatory, make t's swim from one end to the other and the winner get's a prize.

Water Bull-rush: Bull-rush but played in a pool, as appose to on-land.

LR: (LAST REQUEST)

A time for t's to pick a game they would like to play. They are a few tricks ct's can do to outmatch t's at their own game.

Knife Fight - Unless specified the ct can use any combinations of knives they like, assuming the t doesn't have Armour they are a one left one right click from dying, whereas ct's are two left clicks and a right.

Gun Toss- Strafe or use jet-pack to gain extra distance on the deagle.

No-Scope Battle - Use cover or blu-tak for maximum win.

I can add more shit if need be I'm going to shoot myself in the foot for actually investing time into this.
