Server Player Model Store Update - Byte - 26-01-2017 So basically the store regarding player models eventually went to shit. Basically most of the player models are non-VIP and given the credit situation at the time, its no surprise why. It needs to be fixed now as the credit situation has settled a bit due to gift disabling. Solution 1: Move majority of skins to VIP only, keep only a few skins in non-VIP (maybe ~5 per side). Pros: VIPs get more exclusive skins Cons: Less public skins, credits more meaningless to VIPs Solution 2: Remove VIP skins completely. All player models now become credits only. VIPs get ALL player models unlocked for duration of their VIP. Pros: VIPs can access all player models instantly and use credits to buy their favourite ones (to use when they no longer have VIP) Cons: Less exclusive player models (can be fixed by making the best/high quality skins cost a lot of credits) I'm looking for some general thoughts, i'll be making the final decision. Right now i'm keen on solution 2, making some skins super high (i.e. 10k) will obviously make them rare/exclusive to VIPs who unlock them instantly while keeping them available to those who really want them but don't have VIP. RE: Server Player Model Store Update - TNK - 26-01-2017 +1 on the Solution 2 man its sounds sick! THB i don't use credits bc i got nothing to buy anymore lol RE: Server Player Model Store Update - coach davis - 26-01-2017 Solution 2 is a better option, doesn't limit skin options for people who don't have VIP. RE: Server Player Model Store Update - Masta - 26-01-2017 I like solution 2. RE: Server Player Model Store Update - Seth - 26-01-2017 Byte or if people really want player models to be added, let them pay and have like an extreme section where playermodels are like 10k+ but have specific attributes, like sonic and vivi fucked hitboxes and banna/zoigberg covering weapons RE: Server Player Model Store Update - Kaos - 26-01-2017 Make skins that hide guns expensive (Banana Joe and Zoidberg), and also the big CT skins with weird hitbox (Vivi, Sonic) expensive as well. Ideally we would fix hitboxes or remove them. Or fix the holster positions so the guns appear. But thats probably something to do in the future. We probably also need a Player model cost categories. Right player models cost between 1000-3500 credits. I'm proposing: General/Low Quality Skin - 1000 credits Medium Tier Skin - 2000 credits High quality Skin - 3000 credits Very/Extreme HQ - 5000 credits (this would be the VIP exclusive tier so could be higher cost, not many skins would be in this category) I'll probably need some help categorising them. PS: Is Arkham Knight not on JB right now? RE: Server Player Model Store Update - asriel - 26-01-2017 Solution 2: F2P players! RE: Server Player Model Store Update - Kaos - 26-01-2017 Arkham Knight is not, it was very buggy and alot of people couldn't see if properly RE: Server Player Model Store Update - Byte - 26-01-2017 (26-01-2017/05:40 PM)Kaos Wrote: Arkham Knight is not, it was very buggy and alot of people couldn't see if properly Was it actually buggy or was it because people couldn't see it? Because the invisible bug may be fixed already. |
