Removal of Global Rank, Addition of Head Admin - Bot Invex - 01-02-2017
After much discussion, the Staff team have decided to remove the Global Administrator rank.
We feel like merging the Staff/Global team would make it more clear that the upper admin team are equal.
Staff will now be more unified even if permissions vary based on who needs them etc.
People who would have previously qualified to become a Global Administrator will theoretically be promoted to Staff instead now.
As this rank removed created a large gap between Server Admin and Staff, a Head Administrator rank has been added.
This will allow people to progress up the ranks in a more achievable way.
This is not the same as the Global Administrator.
Head Admins will not receive root admin, Veteran after retiring or have 'global' admin perms on forums, ts3, servers etc.
There will likely be 1 or 2 Head Administrators for each server at any given time.
The ex-Global 'red' colour scheme will be used for the new rank.
Head admins will have:
- Higher immunity on the servers they admin on.
- Ability to overrule ANY server admins on decisions
- In charge of promoting server by listening to players, suggesting changes to Staff etc
- Access to do abuse/unban requests on the server they admin on.
- Access to ban/unban on Sourcebans web interface
- Access to ban people off forums (i.e. spam accounts, etc)
Staff (and globals) will promote various admins to the new rank shortly.

Well this is informal. I like the idea of this, maybe to see a mod rank next? (joke based off the amount of suggestions about it)
So how does this work, brandonn is equal to byte? As mentioned before, you're two months too early, it isn't april yet.

Yes so every staff member is now equal in terms of authority/rank.
Perms may differ (i.e. brandonn doesn't need dev server access as he doesn't code while Tick does) etc.
At the end of the day its about having an upper admin team that works together, I don't like the idea of labelling myself as 'Founder' or 'Owner' like others communities do.
I'd rather be equals with the longest playing/most loyal members who helped build this community and kept it alive and kicking.
As for the mod rank, there will not be a trial admin rank.
We already have a trial admin system but there is no permission restrictions or visible rank for it.

Question: will head admins be able to delete shoutbox messages, give forum warnigs, etc.?

Why does anyone apart from Tick have perms on the dev server? He'll code those bug free plugins real fast.
