Reason for appeal:
So after a long conversation with a staff member, I have decided to change my "tone". I now realise what I have done wrong and how it has hurt so many people in ways similar to a massacre of children. Promoting a server through a statement made about an internet connection is OBVIOUSLY, unacceptable. I really enjoy the stable internet connection that this surf server provides, and I wish to be unbanned so I can embrace it with all my love.

Back with an even more childish tone, I see.
I'm on mobile, excuse any typos.
1) You failing to read the very first thing you see when you join our server isn't our fault. It may seem like that at first glance, and you may think that we somehow manipulated your eyes to make you skim over very obvious text, but I can assure you otherwise.
2) Advertisment of other servers is against the rules, and generally speaking it always ends in severe punishment. Acting like an infant isn't going to change that.
3) You either want to be taken seriously, or you don't. If you're going to be an insufferable person to deal with, you won't be treated with as much care as a compliant person would be. You can't have some magical compromise between the two, acting like a shit and still have your voice be heard. The world doesn't work like that.

I was not once warned about this ban taking place and if I had known what was about to take place if I didn't stop, maybe there would be a different outcome. I am seriously sorry for what happened, and I should be more weary about servers rules showing up on join

Judging by your earlier response, it's really rather hard to believe you're sorry. You're sorry for yourself, having gotten yourself into shit, but you aren't sorry. Not that that's even relevant, but I'd at least like if you were honest.
Yeah, you'd have stopped if you knew you were about to get banned, because then you'd have been able to get away scot-free.
I agree with your final point, though.
Anyway, I'll let Rem deal with this appeal overall, as I don't even know if I'm supposed to be an admin anymore.
If it's worth anything, I'd personally unban you in a day or so from now, were the choice to be mine.
