Earlier today, I shot a vent while looking for a T and had forgotten the rule about it. I slayed right after I did it. Although I already slayed for it, the following round I got ct banned for 120 minutes. I have been playing jailbreak for over 3 years now, and it just blanked out my mind when I did it. What I did didn't affect any other players game play or my own, and I slayed for it as well, so I don't believe I deserve a 120 minute spent alive, if a ct ban at all.

How long you've been playing jailbreak is one thing, how long you've been playing on our server is another. Our rules differentiate from other servers, so past experience only goes so far. Normally admins ct-ban others just to allow them a little more time to become familiar w/ the rules. If an admin deems you too new/inexperienced to being a guard on our servers, then having a "cool off" time period to learn the rules is fair. However i will decrease the ban by a little less than half the original, making it 45 minutes. Mainly based off the fact that you self punished yourself (slaying), which shows you have some understanding of how things operate. Just a reminder that the ban is time spent alive as a t, and not on the server.
