I've seen a plugin thingie wheres theres a command it works similar to an anti slam but also gives the ability to be able to use slam via a vote and i was wondering what other people thought if this were to be added. aka the thread.
Basically command such as !dj creates a vote, say there requirement is a 60% of votes to be a yes to be able to play music. if vote doesnt pass nothing happens. if the said player trys to play music they auto get muted by a anti slam for say 5 mins w/ reason Anti Slam Detection or something. this also makes it so randoms cant spam over one and another because they would have to create their own vote to become dj. Also have a cooldown on the vote creation so it doesn't get spammed
(basically i just want to play some bangers maaan

If you mean a plugin in game then that'll be suuuuuper difficult to implement and would make it really hard for the admins since they will have to constantly switch between each of them to monitor them

Squidward not really, cuz you add anti slam to everyone who hasnt put the !dj vote up and if there is a mic spammer, chat would be to everyone.

As I think ev0 mentioned a while ago, one of the reasons slam isn't allowed is an admins ability to moderate those who are playing the music.
E.g someone starts playing music I don't like or is cancerous and yet it gets more than 60% or I'd like to play my own music. I may hate the music and will have to sm that player to make playing bearable. Since I have self muted him, I am unable to mute him if he turns of the music and starts screaming into his mic.
Dealing with really bad music once or twice is alright but if music becomes as popular as it was before it can become very annoying to have to moderate a server with music that you either hate or don't want around.

Masta before there was anti slam/ no voice loopback when I was admin it honesly wasnt hard to moderate. Considering people who do play cancer music would get their own rep of being a person who plays cancer music so if they did the vote it wouldnt pass. I have mentioned this plugin to Byte and he said he was intrested and i guess like everything trial and error is the best way to find out if it works well through out the server or not.

I mean right now people just play their own music which seems to be fine so yeah. Music brings back memories tho.
