So I've known about this for ages but I thought it was intended. When you type !sm 'name' as a non vip, it will say "Cannot target this player." But it works perfectly fine for VIP and above. It's really minor but as a non vip it is annoying scrolling the list for names.

Yeah, can confirm. Before vip I had to scroll the list muting

However if you type !sm you have to go through the list of people to mute one person n8

Thanks for the bug report!
Have found source of bug and have updated the plugin with a fixed version.
While I was at it, I improved the plugin to ignore yourself (as you can't self mute yourself).
As I can't test this with bots and no one is online, some testing for this would be nice:
- Get non-VIP/non-admin to try !sm <player> shortcut
- Test !sm <your name> to make sure it doesn't work
- Test !cm
- Test !su
- In general make sure the plugin still works properly.
Once tested i'll close this thread.

Just got multiple non-vips to test it and they all say it's working.
